Nicol Savinetti

Founder and Chairperson of IMMART Nicol Savinetti is a resident of Denmark with British citizenship and Jamaican and Indian heritage. Over the past twenty-five years, Nicol has studied, worked and built a family in Denmark, obtaining a PhD in Social Policy (with a focus on migration and social citizenship) from the University of Tampere in Finland. Nicol is currently employed as the coordinator for the Global Humanities initiative at the University of Copenhagen. She has previously worked in the fields of DEIB, with human rights and business and human trafficking, and also in English language teaching, translation, language editing, and research.
