Kaisa Rönkkö

Kaisa has worked as a director of Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) since August 2023. Before that, she has served as a CEO of Music x Media, Executive Director of music export office Music Finland, Head of the Orchestra Department at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet, Senior Coordinator at the Defence Forces, coordinator at Finnish Institute in Copenhagen and manager and partner at Fazer Artists Management Inc. Kaisa has a diverse expertise in entrepreneurship and business development and she has worked in numerous projects that combine new business models and entrepreneurial splashes with deep artistry and creativity. She has also worked in various production tasks in the cultural sector and as freelance musician (pianist) and music teacher. Her special interests (or passions) include the role of culture for resilience, peace and security and culture as a part of information warfare. She wants to promote message that arts and culture can foster and strengthen healthy, democratic dialogue and promote citizen participation.
