Edwin Ramirez

Edwin Ramirez (they/them) is a performance artist and stand up comic based in Zurich. With their stand up routines they have performed on all big comedy stages in the German speaking part of Switzerland, including appearances on Swiss national television. In 2020 Edwin co-founded Criptonite alongside Nina Mühlemann. Criptonite is a queer-crip theatre project that uses the aesthetics of drag, pop-culture to create shows engaging with the topics of access, interdependence and bodily autonomy. They were also part of the cast for “Star Magnolia” and also worked on “Monsters vs Society” both at Theater Neumarkt.
