Ceyda Berk-Söderblom is a Helsinki-based independent art manager, curator, festival programmer and entrepreneur specialising in change management; and has 20+ years of background experience in the arts. In 2015 she founded MiklagårdArts, a facilitator and connector for promoting transnational and transcultural collaborations. She is interested in forms of artistic intervention and activism; and has initiated projects with the established institutions of Finland - such as the National Museum of Finland, HAM, Amos Rex, Musica nova Helsinki, Aalto Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki, Helsinki Philharmonic etc. She has also curated projects abroad, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, China, Israel, Belgium, Turkey. One of her projects, a collaboration with the Finnish National Museum, Studio Aleppo [Helsinki], has been awarded the "Production of the Year-2017" by Taku ry–The Finnish Art and Cultural Professionals Trade Union.

Ceyda is a public advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion with a focus on policies, practices, norms, and institutions through her practice and her non-profit work as a board member and chair of Globe Art Point (2017-2021). She worked as an expert in the working group on cultural policy, immigration and cultural diversity appointed by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture (2020) to prepare policy guidelines and  Art, Culture and Diverse Finland Report. Ceyda is a founding member of UNTITLED, a social imagination and experimentation process to bring together pioneering thinkers and doers to reimagine society.

Originally trained as a journalist, she also studied communication, critical thinking, business administration, arts management, and leadership in arts; received her M.A. from the University of Arts Helsinki (Thesis: Diversity and Inclusion: a mission-critical task for today’s arts managers).

Ceyda Berk-Söderblom on Helsingissä asuva taidejohtaja, kuraattori, festivaalin ohjelmapäällikkö ja muutoksenhallintaan erikoistunut yrittäjä, jolla on 20 vuoden kokemus taidealasta. Vuonna 2015 Berk-Söderblom perusti MiklagardArts-alustan, joka fasilitoi, yhdistää ja edistää valtioiden välisiä yhteistöitä Suomen ja globaalin taidekentän välillä. Berk-Söderblom on kiinnostunut taiteellisen intervention ja aktivismin muodoista, ja hän on pannut alulle projekteja monen suomalaisen instituution kanssa. Hän on myös kuratoinut projekteja muun muassa Hong Kongissa, Singaporessa, Saksassa, Kiinassa, Israelissa, Belgiassa ja Turkissa.

Työssään Ceyda edistää yhdenvertaisuutta, monimuotoisuutta ja inklusiivisuutta, keskittyen politiikkaan, käytäntöihin, normeihin ja instituutioihin. Hän on toiminut muun muassa Globe Art Pointin hallituksen jäsenenä ja puheenjohtajana (2017–2021) sekä asiantuntijana työryhmässä, joka loi opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriölle raportin kulttuuripolitiikan, maahanmuuton ja kulttuurisen moninaisuuden linjauksista. Ceyda on myös UNTITLED-yhteisön perustaja.
