Melissa Linsa is a creative and a multidisciplinary artist focusing on photography and dancing. She is also part of the ballroom culture and board member of an antiracist and intersectional feminist NGO called Fem-R.

It is extremely important for her as a QBIPOC artist to provide knowledge of the identity struggles of being minority within a minority and peer support to those in the same situation. The lack of representation in the art field bothers her, especially because growing up she was the only brown kid dancing. She wishes to change that in the future.
