Petra Laiti is a Saami activist and blogger, known for her former position as chair of Suoma Sámi Nuorat, the organization for Saami youth in Finland. Laiti has worked to bring Saami issues to the forefront of domestic political debate in Finland, through her activism in land rights and the right to Saami self-determination. Laiti currently works as a political assistant at the Finnish parliament.
